Wine reviews, pairings, events, and getaways
I have no information on this wine, as it was received as a gift, not as a sample for review. But I will tell you this, it’s a pretty easy drinker and I recommend pairing it with something with a bit of spice (spiceful not spicy) and a bit of sauce, as I did. Grenache can be hit or miss. This is a definite hit, but by no means a homerun.
NO! The last of my Panther Creek stash! Ah well, it was much appreciated and much loved as this wine was opened for (one of) my anniversary dinners.
It is very rare that this California girl gets out of her own state let alone the country when it comes to wine. But, lo! The Briscoe found her way to Chile…or at least Chilean wine…
This is the winery’s first vintage of Gamay Noir. I have a question. Does anyone know of any other Napa winemaker producing Gamay? I would love to compare. Anyway, I found this one quite delicious and I look forward to many more vintages of this variety from Doug and Elias. 
Albariño from Napa, you ask? Yeah, it’s a thing. A delicious thing.
